Drama

Everyone in America has a better way to stimulate the economy with $787 billion than what the Government is doing.  Suggestions range from paying for retirement for anyone over 55 with the condition of buying an American vehicle, to tax vacations.  No matter the suggestion, it certainly is not any worse than the feeble efforts the Federal Government is making to stimulate growth.

Reagan taught America that the road to recovery is through smaller government and lower taxes.  Reagan ran up the deficit after cutting taxes to corner the Democratic Congress into leaving tax rates alone or run the risk of hindering recovery efforts.  Obama’s solution to his inherited recession is to raise taxes and drive the deficit to force the Congress to increase taxes to pay on debt.  So far, it isn’t working as well as Reagan’s tactic.

Like clockwork, reports on unemployment show “surprising” increases in the number of jobless in America.  The administration plays dumb as to the cause of the “surprising” delay in recovery.  Yet, nearly half of the $787 billion has yet to be allocated.  Businesses are not hiring, the Government has control of current and future generations of paychecks and the results are negligible to those not closely affiliated with Ben Bernanke and the Wall Street Mafia.

A six year old can see that the Government’s permission of tax cut expirations to take place have made the business environment unfriendly.  Finally, President Obama has asked Congress for a tax incentive that will have positive results for the people.  The new bipartisan proposal would cut Social Security payroll taxes for employers deciding to expand their workforce by hiring those unemployed for 60 days or more.  This is the first time the Senate has been able to come together to accomplish something in a bipartisan manner on any sizable issue since the election of 2008.  The action also marks the first time small business owners are seeing any sort of an incentive to grow.  When this operation works, hopefully, the tax and spend Democrats will take note and try more of those “evil” tax breaks to get America on the path to success.
